HAPPY NEW YEAR!

23 December 1998

After a lapse, I'm back working on this monster again. This time I redesigned the navigation buttons to the left, and added JavaScript mouseovers to most images. The content has finally all been spellchecked, so hopefully that is all taken care of. There is no new writing just yet though, and I have not returned to linking everything either. These tasks come next. I have been concentrating on finishing the visual theme and tightening up the HTML, both tasks proving to be time consuming. So that's today's update. Have a lovely holiday season.

Yet more subtle formatting changes. Added a few more links to Introduction, completing the first few paragraphs and began research into the others. I had a blast hyperlinking my Biography and had the odd side experience of seeing pictures of all of my old schools.

Improved graphics and formatting. Added background picture. Added note to index. Some editing and spelling and grammar checking on Introduction, Information and News pages. There's still much editing to do on these pages and several more to create.

I have completed initial work on the Introduction page, writing a What's What for the new website, a Who's Who of my internet presence, an exhaustive, hyperlinked Biography of myself and my interests in Music and Computing, and taking a somewhat sappy look at my Inspirations for once again becoming involved in personal web publishing.

The Information page has begun to take shape, including for now an overview of my favorite internet Search Engines.

Moving right along, I began work on the News page, outlining all of my online news sources, including Audio And Video sources plus Other useful and informative sites.

Most of the structure and intent for the site is in place. The content can now follow. I think that I've included all of the vital sections that I'll need to house what I have in mind, for now. I may add, delete, reassign or mutate these sections in the coming days as needed in the natural evolution of the site in its early stages. Some of the sections may remain limited or completely empty for a while as I work. I plan on using this front page space to provide day to day updates on the status of all of the pages, and any other notable developments in my world and in the world at large.

The new Ska64 Site is being launched. See the Introduction, where I put forth a reasonably coherent, elocutionary statement of my motivations and intent for the new site. Sort of. I suspect that the paragraph on that page will undergo some major revision and editing fairly soon, but such as it is, there it is. And wherever you may be, there you are. Boy howdy, is it getting late at night.
